Found wood/natural elements sculpted with clay, molded and cast in bronze employing the ancient art of lost-wax method of casting.
My work is born from our innate connection with Nature and represents many iterations of this philosophy. We exist both as ancestor and descendant, amoeba and mammoth, hawk and mouse, forest and wind, chaos and pattern, particle and wave. I ascribe to a common belief that everything is alive and connected—and embodies a spirit.
“It is the marriage of the soul with Nature that makes the intellect fruitful, and gives birth to imagination,” Thoreau. "Trees can Dance. Humans have roots in the soil," Amanda.
