Rhiza Honeysuckle Root Hamadryad

Rhiza, Honeysuckle Root Hamadryad. Rhiza (pronounced “ree-za”) is a derivative of rhizome, meaning root. Root is defined as an essential part or element; an origin; the basic core; an ancestor from which a person is descended; and the element that carries the main component of meaning. Rhiza represents the root of civilization as an artistic rendering of a female Nubian leader, honoring elements of both African and Egyptian people. Nubians are believed to be the first human race on earth and are cited as the first people to tend and cultivate plants, possibly as early as 16000 B.C.
